SOIL ANALYSIS

WATER ANALYSIS

TISSUE ANALYSIS

COMPLETE SOIL ANALYSIS consists of the following:

Saturation %, pH, Electrical Cond., Calcium (% of Soluble Cations), Magnesium (% of Soluble Cations), Sodium (EPM), Lime, SAR, ESP, Boron, Nitrate Nitrogen (NO3-N), Phosphate Phosphorus (PO4-P), Potassium, Zinc, Iron, Manganese, Copper, Sulfur, Organic, andchloride.

It is a good Idea to have your soil tested each year if it is farmed continually. Fertilizer builds up in some cases and can be utilized the following year. Soil Amendment needs, such as Sulfur, Gypsum, or Limestone and Fertilizer needs such as N P and K can be determined and added.

COMPLETE WATER ANALYSIS consists of the following:

Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, Hydrogen, Hydroxide, Bicarbonate, Carbonate, Chloride, Nitrate, Sulfate, Boron, pH, Electrical Conductivity, Total Dissolved Solids, SAR, ESP, Gyp Req, SO2 Req.(Min. and Max), Langelier Scale, and Theoretical Composition.

Water analysis should be done for each water source each year. After a few analysis, a trend may be found in the water quality, and thereafter analysis can be performed less often.

COMPLETE TISSUE ANALYSIS  consists of the following:

Nitrate Nitrogen (NO3-N), (or Total Nitrogen), Phosphate Phosphorus (PO4-P), (or Total Phosphorus), Potassium, Zinc, Iron, Manganese, Copper, Sulfur, Chloride, Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Boron,

Tissue analysis is used to make sure that the plant is actually getting the Nutrients that are needed.(Sometimes tie-up of nutrients occur). Partial analysis is sometimes recommended for Row crops, but most of the time for Permanent crops, complete analysis is best.
